Notice of Death and Funeral of Gregory Wayne ConleyOn April 20th, 2026 (Monday) @ 1pmAt Our Lady of the Lake, Loch Lomond Gregory Wayne Conley (1948 – 2026)Was born on March 25, 1948 on Mare Island in Vallejo, California to Walter F. Conley and Julia Gomes Conley along with his older brother Robert (Bob) Conley. He attended St. Basil’s Elementary School and St. Vincent Ferrer High School where he found and fell in love with “the cutest girl at St. Vincent.” Greg and Susan had a love story like no other.Greg and Susan raised their four children Jana, Jennifer, Julie and Jeff on hard work, lots of laughter, prayer and fun summers at Pine Grove. The mountains eventually called their names permanently and they designed and built a home on Cobb with Greg’s expert craftsmanship. Greg always brought Susan’s vision to life. They were the original power couple. If she could dream it, Greg could build it, and boy could she dream.Together they created a second home at Blossom Springs Ranch. Greg loved that land. He raised animals, grew organic food, swam in the spring-fed pool and even filled the pool with fish for fun springtime fishing days. Only a few things got him away from Blossom Springs – a grand (or great-grand) child’s sporting event, to help Susan at the Bunk House, a Jeep ride, a hunting trip, or a long stroll and visit at Hardester’s.Greg was dedicated to family, the Catholic Church, his community and the environment. His moral standards were woven into everything he did. He believed in living well, a good joke, a good meal and a good drink. He was proud of his and Susan’s legacy of children and grandchildren. He always had time for the phone call, and you never wanted the conversation to end. Sadly it did on April 6.Greg is survived by his brother, Robert M. Conley (Sandy) and sister-in-law, Bonnie Souza (John). He was the devoted father of four children: Jana Conley, Jennifer Rockwell (GJ), Julie Sears (Joe) and Jeff Conley (Angie). May our merciful Father continue to watch over you all and grant his mercy upon all those willing and ready to receive it.As we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, intensely reflect upon the abundance of this gift that God wishes to pour forth upon us. There is no limit to how much our GOD OF PERFECT MERCY loves us. We should always be aware of the fact that the floodgates of Heaven are opened to us to an unimaginable degree. The ABC’s of Mercy Ask for His mercy – God wants us to approach him in prayer, repenting of our sins and asking him to pour his mercy upon us and upon the whole world. Be merciful to others – God wants us to receive His mercy and extend mercy (love and forgiveness) to others just as he does to us. Complete trust in Jesus – God wants us to know that the graces of his mercy are dependent upon our trust in Him. Notice of Death and Funeral of Gregory Wayne ConleyOn April 20th, 2026 (Monday) @ 1pmAt Our Lady of the Lake, Loch Lomond Gregory Wayne Conley (1948 – 2026)Was born on March 25, 1948 on Mare Island in Vallejo, California to Walter F. Conley and Julia Gomes Conley along with his older brother Robert (Bob) Conley. He attended St. Basil’s Elementary School and St. Vincent Ferrer High School where he found and fell in love with “the cutest girl at St. Vincent.” Greg and Susan had a love story like no other.Greg and Susan raised their four children Jana, Jennifer, Julie and Jeff on hard work, lots of laughter, prayer and fun summers at Pine Grove. The mountains eventually called their names permanently and they designed and built a home on Cobb with Greg’s expert craftsmanship. Greg always brought Susan’s vision to life. They were the original power couple. If she could dream it, Greg could build it, and boy could she dream.Together they created a second home at Blossom Springs Ranch. Greg loved that land. He raised animals, grew organic food, swam in the spring-fed pool and even filled the pool with fish for fun springtime fishing days. Only a few things got him away from Blossom Springs – a grand (or great-grand) child’s sporting event, to help Susan at the Bunk House, a Jeep ride, a hunting trip, or a long stroll and visit at Hardester’s.Greg was dedicated to family, the Catholic Church, his community and the environment. His moral standards were woven into everything he did. He believed in living well, a good joke, a good meal and a good drink. He was proud of his and Susan’s legacy of children and grandchildren.
